Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classic music, boleros from the past, classic ranchero or romantic songs, as well older classical songs. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. Following her singing lessons with mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous opera choruses and chamber ensembles. When she moved to the United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she relocated to southern California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for numerous community projects because of her love and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor in the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to sing the same.
